How much does a Fliteboard cost in 2026?

On the manufacturer's US price list, the Series 6 base models ICON and PRO start at $10,999 (around €10,000) and the inflatable Flite AIR at $8,799 (around €8,000). Top configurations of the ULTRA and RACE start at about €13,500. The final figure depends heavily on your build: board version, Flitecell battery, and wing choice together set the total.

What's the difference between the ICON, PRO, and ULTRA?

The ICON, at 100 liters, is the all-arounder for every skill level. The PRO measures 67 liters and feels noticeably more agile and sporty. The ULTRA L3 is the lightest board in the range at 49 liters, a competition machine for carving waves that assumes advanced skills. The rule of thumb: the smaller the board, the more maneuverable it gets, but also the harder it is to learn on.

Flitecell is Flite's swappable battery system, available in three sizes: Nano (806 Wh, roughly 45 minutes), Sport (1.6 kWh, about 1.5 hours), and Explore (2.1 kWh, up to 2.5 hours). Every board works with every Flitecell, so flight time and price mostly come down to which battery you pick.

Can you still buy the previous generation?

Yes. Flite sells off the fifth generation (Series 5) at steep closeout discounts while supplies last ($8,499 to $10,699). The 2021 generation of Fliteboard, Pro, and Air is no longer available new, but it appears regularly on the used market.

Which Fliteboard is best for beginners?

The easiest path is the Flitescooter: its handlebar has almost anyone up and flying within minutes. Among the boards, the inflatable Flite AIR forgives the most mistakes, and among the rigid models it's the high-volume ICON. The smaller PRO, ULTRA, and RACE belong in experienced hands.
